Burma Vision: February 2019 Mission
February 9-19, 2019, a team of five from America with FBR volunteer Susan Aigner traveled to the Cross Border clinic in Brigade 6 to assist Dr. Nay Hser and five other FBR eye medics in a vision, cataract surgery and hearing clinic. Teaching medics was a priority. The late Dr. Frank Green was honored. 350 patients were examined with over 100 spectacles and 50 hearing aids dispensed. Over 60 had surgery including glaucoma, evisceration, pterygium, strabismus, tear duct and landmine victim reconstruction as well as 50 cataracts. Full Video.
